Outreach

Community outreach is a major component for the Molecular Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Core. We aim to foster a love of science in local middle and high-school students, with a goal of increasing diversity in STEM fields. By providing hands-on workshops and learning opportunities for our community, we hope to increase interest in these fields.

In addition to serving the local community, we aim to be a resource for researchers across the state. We will host workshops and conferences for investigators at other institutions in New Mexico, and become a hub for innovation and collaboration.
